Individual Sponsorship

Would you like the opportunity to become a special friend to Serenity Equine
Rescue? You've come to the right place! Having recurring donations ensures that
we will always have the proper funds to care for our rescues (veterinary care,
farrier work, feed, supplements, and more)! Listed below are the horses that you
can choose from; these are horses that are permanent residents. Contact us if you would be interested. We would love to have you!

Twinkle

Twinkle is a fully blind mini pony. Twinkle was acquired from an auction, where he was being offered as a lesson pony. We soon realized that Twinkle is fully blind and now lives out his days listening for the crumple of a treat bag.

Lil Bit

Lil Bit was rescued from an auction when she was 2. She had never been adequately handled and was terrified of human touch. She now cannot get enough of you and loves to venture into anyone’s pockets for snacks.

Moe

Moe is a 12-year-old mini mule. Moe was surrendered to us from his owner and was placed with a local foster. Moe was previously unhandled, but is a curious boy and seems intrigued by humans. In the past couple of weeks Moe’s personality has slowly come out, and we are seeing how funky of a guy he is.  We are currently working to get Moe acclimated to a typical barn environment, humans, and being regularly handled. We estimate that Moe will be ready for adoption in fall of 2024.
